Mission
The primary mission of The Swimmers Circle is to enable the success of swimmers and swim coaches through making pertinent swimming information readily available and easily accessible.
Further, The Swimmers Circle is meant to act as an arena for swim fans and the entire swimming community to truly have a place to network, work together, and expand personal or professional horizons.
History
In late 2008, Andy Scherer realized that there has been a dire need for an entire social networking venue for the online swimming community. His vision was and is to grow The Swimmers Circle into a multi-contributor blog that delivers the utmost complete information in a timely fashion for the swimming community.
In January of 2010, Andy met Braden Keith, another swim fan and coach with an avid interest in increasing the sports public visibility, through a different solo project that Braden was working on. The two met, recognized their common interest, and from there things took off.
Moving Forward
The current track of Swimmers Circle, LLC is to continue it’s expansion and addition of quality content. Though we will not be able to create all of the content needed, we will ask the entire swimming community to assist in our vision. We will not turn down anyone that is willing to help contribute to the full coverage of swimming.
