TheSwimmersCircle is an online swim networking arena for swimmers, swim coaches, swim fans, and the general online community that may have an interest in the prolific sport of swimming.

Constructed on a significantly powerful WordPress community platform, TheSwimmersCircle has the potential and ability to adapt to the swimming community’s needs as the expansion of the web 2.0 world continues to expand and develop into web 3.0.

Mission

The primary mission of TheSwimmersCircle is to enable the success of swimmers and swim coaches through making pertinent swimming information readily available and easily accessible.

Also, TheSwimmersCircle is meant to act as an arena for swim fans and the entire swimming community to truly have a place to network, work together, and expand personal or professional horizons.

History

In late 2008, Andy Scherer realized that there has been a dire need for an entire social networking venue for the online swimming community.  His vision was and is to grow TheSwimmersCircle into a multi-contributor blog that delivers the utmost complete information in a timely fashion for the swimming community.

Moving Forward

The current track of TheSwimmersCircle is to continue it’s expansion and addition of quality content.  Though we will not be able to create all of the content needed, we will ask the entire swimming community to assist in our vision.  We will not turn down anyone that is willing to help contribute to the full coverage of swimming.
